Getting any type of visa if you are in the Manila is quite rigorous. They will ask you a lot of questions and documents to present in order to show the embassy that you have enough funds to support your travel and you won’t jump ship or work illegally in that country. We can’t blame them for doing that since we all know that Filipinos will do everything to find a better place to work and live, even if it means risking being put in jail.
Good thing we are in Qatar and we have permanent work here, that getting a visa is quite easy. They know that you are a resident and you won’t leave the country just so suddenly. If there is one thing I won’t forget in our Morocco trip, it will be our journey to Ait Ben Haddou. I can’t forget the long travel we had going there, the steep walk towards the summit and the unforgettable jolly old man (86-year old!) Mr Abdou as our tour guide.
We really wanted to go to Essaoira due to the fact that some of Game of Thrones’ scenes were shot in this beautiful place.. The motif of the whole city is blue and white just like the colour of the ocean where it is located beside..
But as you get inside the city, and walked along the narrow passageways and alleys, you will see the colourful side of it. Lots of patterns and colours mixed together but very pleasing to the eyes.
